Sep. 17—AUBURN — Gloria San Pedro scored the lone goal early in the first half to lift Edward Little to a 1-0 win over Leavitt in girls soccer action Thursday.

Natalie Garcia had an assist on San Pedro's winner. Hailee Brown made eight saves for the Red Eddies (2-3).

Carlie Leavitt made six saves for the Hornets (1-3).

Charlotte Mitchell scored a hat trick for the Roadrunners (1-0) in the win over the Cougars (0-3) in Dixfield.

Lily Day and Daisey Gusler each had two goals for Mt. Abram. Brynna Zelie, Julia Wells, Savannah Davis, Sydney Sillanpaa, MacKenzie Conteras and Baylea Haines each had one goal. Emily Kidd stopped two shots to earn the win in goal.

Savannah Williams scored the lone goal for Dirigo, with Destiny Jackson recording the assist. Lauretta Woodhead and Jaycie Holmquist combined for 18 saves for the Cougars.

Annabelle Thone scored three goals and set up another as the Bucks (2-2) rolled past the Seahawks (0-2) in Wiscasset.

Cora Brewster collected two goals and an assist, and Isabelle Laughton and Brittany Carrier each had a goal and assist. Kai Trenoweth, Sami Patenaude and Mya Austin also scored.

Ruby Cyr needed only one save for the shutout.

Emilie Crocker made 21 saves for Boothbay/Wiscasset.

Lily Platt and Hayden Madore each scored goals to lift the Bulldogs over the Mustangs in a Mountain Valley Conference game in Farmingdale.

Iris Ireland assisted on both goals for Hall-Dale.

Monmouth/Winthrop goalie June Foyt had 15 saves.

Alice LeDuc scored twice for the Falcons (1-2) in the win over the Rebels (0-2) in Rumford.

Emily Richard had a goal and an assist in the win. Emily Clukey, Jadan Boulanger, Paisley Clukey and Ali Mazza each had a goal. Emily Koch made four first-half saves for Mountain Valley while Justice Gendron stopped three shots in the second half.

Macie Hallett scored and Morgan Vetts, who made 11 saves in the first half for Telstar, added a goal in the second half. Violet Howe made 11 saves in the second half.

Autumn Freeman scored a fourth-quarter goal to lift the Falcons (4-0) over the Phoenix (2-2-2) in Rumford.

Brooke Brown made four saves for Mountain Valley.

Jayden Achorn stopped 25 shots for Spruce Mountain.

Cierra Barker scored a hat trick for the Hornets (3-1) in a win over the Shipbuilders (2-2-1) in Turner.

Emma Beedy added a goal and two assists, and Ava Gagnon also scored. Eve Martineau recorded two assists.

Paige DeMascio stopped 10 shots for the shutout. Morse goalie Gracie Hawkins turn aside 15 shots.

Mohamen Matan had two goals and an assist to lead the Mustangs (2-2-1) to a win over the Seawolves (1-4) in South Portland.

Abidbaari Hersi and Saub Nur also scored for Central Maine and Mohamud Hassan recorded an assist. Dido Lumu made 12 saves in the win.

Eriksen Shea and Laszlo Dorogi scored for Southern Maine Community College while David Wilson had an assist. Joshua Nagle made one save in goal.
