Mar. 9—WILLMAR — Held to 15 second-half points, Willmar was unable to keep pace with Fergus Falls as the Otters collected the Central Lakes Conference boys basketball victory Monday night, 54-42.

Fergus falls was led by Dominic Aguilar, who had five 3-pointers en route to a game-high 25 points. Aguilar also had three assists and a pair of steals.

Jacob Rosendahl was the Cardinals' top scorer with 12 points. Blake Schoolmeester dropped in 10 points with two blocks.

Down 39-35 with 12 minutes, 29 seconds to play, Willmar went without a field goal for the next

7:51, letting the Otters go up 48-38 in the process.

The Cardinals next play at 7 p.m. Thursday at Hutchinson.
