Antonio Brown has officially picked a helmet for the 2019 NFL season

Our long national nightmare is over: Oakland Raiders wide receiver Antonio Brown has picked a helmet for the 2019 NFL season.

Brown will be going with a Xenith Shadow, which looks a lot like the helmet Brown used on the season finale of “Hard Knocks” on Tuesday.

While the news means Brown won’t retire over a helmet, it doesn’t eliminate the drama surrounding Brown. The 31-year-old re-ignited those wounds Wednesday after he was fined over $50,000 for skipping two practices during the ongoing saga. Brown posted a picture of his fine and started his caption with “when your own team want to hate.”

Between Brown’s cryogenically frozen feet, the helmet and missing practices, it’s been an eventful preseason for the four-time All-Pro. Now that the helmet issue is resolved, the Raiders will have to hope Brown can put everything else behind him and put up his usual numbers once the regular season begins.
