Annual D-Feet Hearing Loss walk set for June 4

May 22—BEMIDJI — The Minnesota Lions Hearing Foundation is set to host its annual D-Feet Hearing Loss walk at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 4, at Diamond Point Park.

Lunch will be provided, and games and activities for children will be available at the park.

"Your participation in this fundraiser helps us continue to meet our commitments to the Lion's Children's Hearing Center at the University of Minnesota and the Department of Otolaryngology at the U of M," a release said.

For those who are unable to attend the event in person, the walk can also be completed virtually.

"D-Feet Hearing Loss is a great opportunity for individuals and teams to come together for a fun-filled event while making a difference," a release said. "You and your teammates can take a safe socially distanced half-mile, two-mile or three-mile walk through your neighborhood, around a lake or nearby park."

The cost to participate is $25, or $35 to receive an event T-shirt with registration. There is no entry fee for children ages 12 and younger.
