You already know that wearing a mask when you’re around people who aren’t in your household is an important tool to preventing the spread of COVID-19—and protecting yourself. But it can be frustrating that other people can’t see the lower half of your face. That’s especially true if you’re a teacher or regularly interact with people who are deaf, hard of hearing, have a disability or English is their second language.
Luckily, there is a solution: clear face masks. And, right now, QVC is offering up three-packs of Andy & Evan Adult Peek-Through Window Face Coverings for $19 (was $23), so you can show off your smile to others when you’re out and about. Don’t feel like paying all of that upfront? QVC lets you do three easy payments of $6.33 instead.
These masks are basically a hybrid of clear face coverings and cloth face masks, to allow you maximum protection while also letting others see your lips.
A big thing with any kind of mask—including clear face masks—is to be sure it “makes a good seal” around your nose and mouth, Dr. Richard Watkins, an infectious disease physician and professor of internal medicine at the Northeast Ohio Medical University, tells Yahoo Life.
These masks do just that. They feature adjustable ear loops and a flexible nose bridge to help you get that just-right fit, along with two layers of cloth fabric around the clear window shield. The clear portion of the mask is scratch- and fog-resistant, BPA-free and hypoallergenic, and the whole set comes with a microfiber cleaning cloth, to keep your mask nice and clear.
Oh! And these face coverings come in a big range of colors and prints, so you can match them to your outfits.
Maintenance is pretty easy with these masks: Just hand wash them with soap and water, let them air dry and then wipe the window shield clean with the microfiber cloth.
Just a heads up: This sale won’t last forever. If you want people to ~actually~ see your face again, it’s time to act.
