Amanda Nunes dominant win over Felicia Spencer at UFC 250

Video Transcript

KEVIN IOLE: Well, Amanda Nunes did it again. On Saturday night at UFC 250, she made it look easy as she usually does. She defended her UFC featherweight championship with a unanimous decision victory over Felicia Spencer, who was never in the fight. It was 50-44 twice, and 50-45, and it was a one-sided beat-down from the beginning of the fight. Spencer never had any offense going. Nunes just rolled on and was dominant in the victory.

The big news on the card was the fact that Aljamain Sterling, the number two ranked men's bantamweight, submitted Cory Sandhagan in the first round. And he should put himself in position to fight for the title later this year or early next year. It was a very impressive performance by Aljamain, who got a rear naked choke after catching a kick and taking Sandhagan to the ground.

Sugar Sean O'Malley also was impressive with a one-punch knockout. He just walked away after hitting Eddie Wineland on the chin with a right hand. First round he was way faster, way more accurate. Cracked him on the chin. That was it. It was a big night.

A great night of fights here at the Apex in Las Vegas. Amanda Nunes is your winner and still world champion.
