Amanda Holden felt no fear as she completed charity skydive
Amanda Holden has confessed she was surprised to feel no fear as she jumped out of a plane at 10,000ft to complete a charity skydive.
The Britain’s Got Talent star managed to remain glamorous in her helmet, parachute straps and red jumpsuit as she took the plunge along with her sister Debbie and 69-year-old mother Judy. They were joined by Charlotte Hatton, 17, in the stunt, part of Heart’s Big Skydive, to raise money for Global’s Make Some Noise, a charity that helps disadvantaged children and young people.
Holden, 48, said: “I’m going to be honest with you and say that I found an overwhelming sense of calm as we went up in the plane.
“It felt like the most incredible experience and a dream come true and real box ticked.

“My mum, sister and I all shouted that we loved each other.
“I volunteered to go first because I didn’t really want to watch anyone else jump out and get put off, to be honest.
“It felt like nothing. I felt like an alien. And kept questioning why my fear didn’t kick in.
“I think it was because of the excellent instructors and the fact that the whole thing was for such a good cause.”
Charlotte, who lost her mother to cancer three years ago, was taking part in the skydive because she had been helped by the charity’s Holding On, Letting Go bereavement scheme.

Holden, who shared an emotional hug with Charlotte after the jump, said: "You did really well, she’d be really, really proud of you. I feel proud of you and I barely know you. I think you’re such a fierce little thing and you’ve done incredible well.”
Holden has already raised over £25,000 for the charity with the stunt. Donations can be made on her website.
