Allegiant Air announces new, direct flights from Appleton to Colorado, Florida

GREENVILLE – If you’re a Fox Valley resident still debating where to spend spring break in 2022, you have some new options available.

Starting this March, Allegiant Air will offer nonstop flights from Appleton International Airport to Denver as well as two Florida destinations, Fort Lauderdale and Sarasota.

“These routes will connect our customers to premier destinations in Arizona and Florida just in time for Spring break,” Drew Wells, Allegiant vice president of revenue and planning, said in a press release Tuesday.

Flights to Fort Lauderdale begin with one-way fares as low as $49, according to the release. Flights to Denver and Sarasota start March 11 with one-way fares as low as $39 and $59, respectively.

The three new routes from Appleton are among nine new nonstop routes revealed by Allegiant on Tuesday.

Appleton is the second area airport to announce new nonstop routes to Florida in recent weeks. Frontier Airlines will start nonstop flights from Green Bay Austin Straubel International Airport to Tampa on Dec. 16 followed by weekly nonstop flights to Fort Lauderdale in early 2022.
