These bargain £12 trainers look just like popular £350 Alexander McQueen pair

Every year there is always a pair of ‘it’ trainers, 2019’s top pick being Alexander McQueen’s chunky white platforms.
The Runway Leather Platform Trainers by the British designer were an instant hit this year, search platform, Lyst, naming the footwear as the Hottest Women’s Product in the first quarter of 2019.
The shoes were being searched for every two minutes on the site at the beginning of the year - and their popularity hasn’t diminished as the months have rolled on.
The classic white trainers with a statement heel tab have become a staple on the fashion week street style scene, as well as a favourite with celebrities and influencers, most recently seen on Jennifer Lopez and Geri Halliwell.
The trendy footwear will, however, set you back £360 - which although isn’t totally unattainable, it’s definitely an investment.
Want to try and get the look for less? Online retailers, Studio, are selling an almost identical pair for only £12. With the shoes similar silhouette, platform sole and metallic tab, it’s a rather difficult game of spot the difference.
The lookalike shoes also come in a rather luxe-looking black croc design too.
