Aldi has quickly become a go-to place for anyone looking for unconventional boozy drinks. Their summer drinks like margarita wine and bottled mimosas were a huge hit this year, and now for the holidays there's an interesting line up of liquor coming to the grocery store chain. One of the craziest options is a chocolate prosecco that blends a sweet and rich taste with the bubbly drink people love.

ChocoSecco is appropriately named by combining the two flavors, chocolate and prosecco, together. Prosecco by itself is a sparkling wine often used for special occasions and fancy cocktails. With the added chocolate taste, it's given a whole new life. Chocolate and prosecco pair well together normally so there's no question the drink will be a refreshingly new take on the pairing.

This isn't the first year ChocoSecco is being offered at Aldi, but because of the recent popularity of the alcohol selection at the grocery store, it will probably be a big hit this year. It'll hit shelves on November 25 for $6.99, so you can pick up a bottle for dessert drinking on Thanksgiving after your big dinner.

With the holiday season and especially New Year's coming up, it's important to find fun but safe ways to celebrate the day. Popping bottles is almost synonymous with NYE, so you might as well pick up some ChocoSecco for December 31 to remind yourself that life is indeed very sweet. Cheers to that!
