Alabama women's basketball to host defending national champion South Carolina, Auburn in SEC play

The SEC part of the Alabama women's basketball schedule was released Wednesday.

Alabama will start SEC play at home against Georgia on Dec. 29 and wrap up play by hosting Ole Miss on Feb. 26. The Crimson Tide will play the Rebels, Auburn and Missouri twice during the season, home and away.

Alabama will also host defending national champion South Carolina as well as Texas A&M, LSU, and Vanderbilt. Alabama plays at Tennessee, Arkansas, Kentucky, Mississippi State and Florida. The SEC Tournament will be March 1-5, 2023, in Greenville, S.C.

The Crimson Tide is coming off a 20-win season that saw it advance to the WNIT Elite Eight. The Crimson Tide will welcome five transfers and an incoming freshman to go along with eight returnees.

The Crimson Tide previously announced participation in the Baha Mar Hoops Pink Flamingo Championship in Nassau, Bahamas. Alabama will play Utah on Nov. 21 and Wake Forest on Nov. 23.
