Offense: B

A variety of receivers made big plays in this one. Quarterback Bryce Young looked sharp and put together a strong performance both as a passer and a rusher. The offense had a run of four straight drives where it scored a touchdown. Young did throw an interception, and there were a few drops.

Defense: B-

The Crimson Tide struggled at times to stop the run. Auburn had already gained more than 200 yards rushing before the third quarter was over. Still, Alabama made enough plays defensively to allow the offense to build a lead in the first half.

Special teams: A

When you have kicker Will Reichard making a tackle in coverage and long snapper Kneeland Hibbett speeding down the field to recover a muffed punt, this grade is going to be a good one.

Coaching: B

Overall, the Alabama coaching staff had the Crimson Tide ready to go. Alabama offensive coordinator Bill O'Brien showed some nice creativity to get the passing game going in the first half. Pete Golding's defense struggled to make adjustments to slow down the run at times, though. Still, Alabama had a good game plan overall to beat the Tigers.

Overall: B

With a College Football Playoff spot all but out of reach, Alabama could have sputtered to the end of the regular season. Instead, it came out playing inspired and with intensity in the Iron Bowl. It had some bumps along the way, but overall, a solid performance for the Crimson Tide.
