Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown is playing in his first Super Bowl on Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs in Glendale, Arizona.

The former Tennessee Titans wide receiver has been one of the best receivers in the league in his first season with the Eagles after the April trade. During Monday's media day, Brown reflected on the previous nine months.

"I think I've grown, maturity-wise," Brown said Monday at Super Bowl Opening Night, the spruced-up version of the week's media day. "Definitely had to learn the hard way that it is a business. But I think my game speaks for myself. I'm continuing to keep trying to get better each and every day, and let my play speak for me."

Brown was acquired in a draft night trade by the Eagles from the Titans in exchange for the No. 19 overall pick in the 2022 draft, which was used to select Treylon Burks, and a third-round pick. Brown signed a 4-year, $100 million contract extension with Philadelphia and set an Eagles franchise single-season record with 1,496 receiving yards in the regular season. The Ole Miss alum flourished alongside DeVonta Smith and catching passes from MVP candidate Jalen Hurts.

That included a Dec. 4 game against Tennessee where he caught 8 passes for 119 yards and two touchdowns against his old team. Two days later, the Titans fired general manager Jon Robinson, the man responsible for trading Brown seven months earlier.

"Obviously on offense, the big acquisition of A.J. Brown has really uplifted our offense," Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert said to FOX Sports 1 on Monday. "He's an incredible guy and incredible player. He makes plays for us week in and week out, and we're looking for the same thing this week."

Brown has been slowed in the playoffs (7 catches for 50 yards), though the Eagles won their two playoff games by a combined 55 points en route to Arizona.

Philadelphia faced Daniel Jones' New York Giants and Brock Purdy's San Francisco 49ers (with a cameo from Josh Johnson) to get to the Super Bowl. On Sunday, the opponent is Patrick Mahomes' Kansas City Chiefs.
