‘AGT’ fans are upset because the majority of finalists are singers: #TooManySingers

On Wednesday, three more singers advanced to the ‘America’s Got Talent’ finals. Cristina Rae, Daneliya Tuleshova, and Kenadi Dodds will be joining country music duo Broken Roots, soul singer Archie Williams, and vocalist Roberta Battaglia in the finals next week. That means six of the ten final acts will be made up of singers. Fans were not happy about the results, citing that the show was supposed to be a platform for a greater variety of talent acts. While the majority of advancing acts are singers, they’ll have to hit all the right notes to overcome the competition. The non-singing acts who advanced were Indian ballroom duo Bad Salsa, hand-balancing trio the Bello Sisters, poet and spoken word artist Brandon Leake, and death-defying aerialist Alan Silva.
