Addison Rae's Dad Wants To Box The 26-Year-Old Rapper Hitting On Her Mom, And Honestly, I Can't

Sigh. OK. This is going to be quite the ride, but we're going to get through it together. To start, we all know Addison Rae — the TikToker turned Netflix movie star.

Well, Addison's father, Monty Lopez, has recently found himself in quite a bit of drama. In July, the 46-year-old dad faced cheating allegations after a 25-year-old influencer named Renée Ash claimed she and Monty had been in a five-month relationship. According to People, though, Addison's parents had already been separated for a year.

Now, the tables have turned and it's Addison's mom, Sheri Easterling, whose relationship status has drawn eyes.

Earlier this month, 26-year-old rapper Yung Gravy appeared on the BFFs podcast, which is hosted by Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy, as well as personalities Josh Richards and Brianna Chickenfry. During their chat, Mr. Gravy was asked about his "MILF thing" — referring to his lyrics centered around a love for older women, including his song "Martha Stewart."

Then, the topic of Addison Rae's mom came up, to which Yung Gravy said, "She was DM'ing me at one point. ... I started showing some love back and, you know, now we're just being cute. Ya know. Making videos back and forth, sending wholesome DMs — it's cute."

Sheri and Yung Gravy do indeed send videos back and forth for all to see — keeping up an internet flirtationship where Sheri has expressed a tongue-in-cheek interest in going on a picnic date with the rapper and baking him biscuits.

So, when one of the hosts suggested that Yung Gravy take Sheri out on that date, he immediately responded, "That's the plan."

Well, somewhere out there in internet land laid Monty Lopez, and he caught wind of the budding friendship. So, with influencer boxing on the rise — an industry that reportedly earned Logan Paul about $900,000 from his first fight — what other path forward could Monty take than to challenge Yung Gravy to a match?

Yes. Seriously.

Over 25 million people have viewed this video of Monty flexing every muscle in his body while threatening Yung Gravy and declaring, "Run white boy, run"...

...which commenters immediately called extremely embarrassing...

...and many believe the stunt is a ploy to remain relevant in the public eye while Monty's famous family distances themselves from him.

Yung Gravy responded to the challenge with a TikTok video, saying, "I'm a grown man. I'm not going to fight you over TikTok drama. You've got one of the most successful daughters in the world and you decide to act half her age to try to get some attention while embarrassing your whole family."

"So grow up," he continued. "Get some help, and if we cross paths in real life, don't do anything stupid."

Addison Rae appears to have unfollowed Sheri and Monty on Instagram.

And that's where we land today! Let me know your thoughts on all this in the comments.
