'After 8 awesome years' Tortuga Sports Lounge plans to close doors
A West El Paso bar will not continue to see business despite the new year.
Tortuga Sports Lounge, 126 Shadow Mountain Drive, announced on Facebook it will be closing its doors.
"After eight awesome years, we must close. We just can't sustain......come say goodbye. We will only accept cash after Wednesday....love you! Drink all our weird stuff!"
The sports bar stated in the comment that the business "can't sustain" for its reason of permanently closing.
A sign on the entrance door Wednesday morning said the kitchen was closed due to staff shortages.
The business will only accept cash after Wednesday, Jan 19, and the final day for business is Friday, Jan. 21.
