62% of people in Brevard are fully vaccinated

Some 62% of people living in Brevard County are fully vaccinated as of Nov. 30, according to data from Florida Department of Health.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention considers someone fully vaccinated two weeks after they've been given a single-dose shot (Johnson & Johnson) or a second shot (either Pfizer or Moderna).

Florida reported 3,730,395 total cases of coronavirus, an increase of 0.24% from the week before.

The five counties with the highest percentage of their population fully vaccinated in Florida as of Nov. 30 are Sumter County (84%), Miami-Dade County (78%), Osceola County (73%), St. Johns County (72%) and Monroe County (71%).
