3-star OT Connor Jones picks Michigan football on Christmas Eve

Christmas came early for Ed Warinner and Michigan football.

3-star offensive tackle Connor Jones committed to the Wolverines on Christmas Eve, becoming the fifth commitment in U-M's 2022 recruiting class.

Jones, listed at 6-foot-7, 285 pounds, is ranked No. 774 overall and the No. 78 offensive tackle in his class, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.

He also reportedly held offers from Indiana, Northwestern and Virginia, among others.
