Colerain police investigate fatal road rage shooting along I-275 West near Blue Rock Road exit

Colerain Township police are investigating a fatal road-rage shooting along Interstate 275 West.

Colerain police spokesman James Love said police responded to a road rage incident that became a fender bender. He said the crash led to a personal confrontation and one person pulled out a handgun and fatally shot the other.

No names have been released and Love said he could not comment on whether the shooter had left the scene or was still at the scene when police arrived.

The westbound lanes of I-275 near the Blue Rock Road exit were shut down. The lanes reopened after several hours.

The incident remains under investigation, and police ask anyone with information to call the department at 513-321-2677.
