It's hard to believe it's been 25 years since we were first introduced to the Hill family of Arlen, Texas.

King of the Hill premiered on January 12, 1997. The show followed Hank Hill, salesman of propane and propane accessories; wife Peggy, a substitute teacher with unflappable self-esteem; and Bobby, a tween boy who is nothing like either of his parents.
Then we meet Hank's other family, the guys from the alley.

The relationship between Hank, Dale, Boomhauer, and Bill is a bromance as great as any. Four completely different men bond over their shared street, their career and relationship woes, the nonsense that everyday life throws their way, and of course, beer.
The show ended back in 2010, but thanks to streaming and memeing, it's only gotten more popular.

And now, here are 25 moments that show you exactly why.

One of the most classic KOTH moments was in the Season 6 premiere when Bobby takes a women's self-defense class and takes what he learns there to use against his bullies, to Hank's complete horror.
2.Hank accidentally smoking weed.

It's no surprise that a straight-shooter like Hank is anti-grass, but seeing the lengths he goes to so that he doesn't have to admit it is comedy gold.
3."I'm a little worried about being a slut."

In an early KOTH episode, Peggy walks into Bobby's bedroom to ask him what he knows about sex as she prepares to teach sex-ed as a substitute teacher. After he says he doesn't know much, an 11-year-old Bobby voices this concern.
4."I'm a proud, ignorant woman."
5.Dale throws his pocket sand.

When Hank busts Bobby smoking, he tries to teach him a lesson by making him smoke a whole carton. He makes the mistake of lighting one up, and before you know it, all three Hills are hiding their smoking from each other, leading to this hilarious moment.

9.Peggy and Dale's joint business venture.

John Redcorn is one of the most underrated characters on the show, and the Thanksgiving episodes remind us why. When he tells Bobby and Joseph the truth about Thanksgiving, he isn't prepared for how they take it. What's worse, it messes with Hank's vision of Thanksgiving.
13.Hank discovers Bobby's a great shot.
14. Dale compliments Bobby's shooting while SWAT is targeting him.
Dale gets surrounded by SWAT after Bill calls the police, mistaking his exterminator equipment for a gun. When he thinks officers are going to shoot, he advises them to let Bobby do it.
15.Hank is introduced to vidya games.
16.Peggy, Nancy, and Dale steal a news van.
17.Hank Hill was born prepared for this moment.

Bobby dancing to this song is totally spot on, but the way Cotton, who is annoyed and enraged by everything else, is happily tapping along shows just how much he loves his grandson, one of the best things about the guy who proudly killed fiddy men.
21.Bobby shares his prayer with the family.
22.Bobby tries ADHD medication
23.Meeting Dale's dad at the rodeo.
24.The Hills meet the extended Dauterive family in New Orleans.
