The 21 Shore Conference lacrosse stars from Week 7
Each week during the 2022 high school lacrosse season, the Asbury Park Press will highlight some of the standout individual performances from boys and girls lacrosse players in the Shore Conference.
This week, the performances came from Shore Conference Tournament games from May 9-14.
If any Shore Conference lacrosse coach or athletic director would like to nominate a player or players, they can send an e-mail to Sherlon Christie at schristie@gannettnj.com. Nominations are due each Saturday before 6 p.m.
Your Shore Conference girls lacrosse nominees
Calli Dunn, Barnegat
Dunn was everywhere on the field. She scored six of her game-high eight goals in the first half vaulting the Bengals to a 12-11 win over Shore Regional. With that win, the Bengals defeated Shore Regional for the first time in school history. And the Bengals won their first game in the SCT in back to back seasons for the first time in program history. And Barnegat defeated a single-digit seed in the SCT for the first time in school history.

Carina Appel, Red Bank
Appel stopped 14 shots in a 13-9 loss to Red Bank Catholic
Rory Paris, Wall
Paris' three goals and three assists carried the Crimson Knights to a 17-3 win over Toms River North.
Rylee Johnson, Southern
Johnson gained her 100th career assist after a four-goal, three-assist effort in a 15-3 win over Lacey.
Maddie Malfa, Shore
Malfa finished with four goals, three assists, two ground balls and two forced turnovers in a 12-11 loss to Barnegat.

Grace Martel, Ocean
Martel scored two goals for the Spartans in their 9-5 loss to Middletown South. Martel has
Peyton McGuire, Trinity Hall
McGuire registered five goals, including the game-winning tally as time expired as the Monarchs competed one of the greatest comebacks in girls lacrosse SCT history with a 12-11 win over Manasquan. Trinity Hall trailed by six goals, 11-5, with 6:23 left. The final goal by McGuire was also the 100th goal of her career.

Eliott Van Nice, Rumson-Fair Haven
Van Nice generated a game-high five goals and also had one assist as the Bulldogs defeated Southern, 14-2.
Skylar O'Keefe, Middletown South
O'Keefe finished with two goals and two assists for the Eagles in their 9-5 win over Ocean.
Quinn McCarthy, Manasquan
McCarthy had a tremendous effort in goal for Manasquan with nine of her 13 saves coming in the second half in a 12-11 loss to Trinity Hall. McCarthy had several saves at close range in the final two minutes of the game.

Anna Gotterup, Red Bank Catholic
Gotterup generated six goals for the Caseys in a 13-9 win over Red Bank.

Daniel Aulisi, Brick Memorial
Aulisi supplied four goals and one assist for the Mustangs in their 11-4 win over Barnegat.

Christian Schrade, Red Bank Catholic
Schrade tipped away 22 shots in the Caseys' 13-3 loss.
James Farinacci, Manasquan
Farinacci powered Manasquan to a 17-2 win over St. Rose as he had a career-high seven goals to go along with three assists for a career-high 10 points.

Lucas Holland, Barnegat
Holland posted 11 saves for the Bengals in a 11-4 loss to Brick Memorial.
Matt Dollive, Wall
With senior Matt Dollive leading the way with three goals and two assists the Crimson Knights defeated Manasquan, 7-3. Dollive scored all three of his team's goals in the fourth quarter.

Doug MacKenzie, Howell
MacKenzie's four goals and one assist vaulted the Rebels past Middletown South, 8-7.
Matthew Azzarano, Point Boro
Azzarano deflected 12 shots away from the net for the Panthers in their 17-0 loss to Wall. It was the third straight game that Azzarano had double-digit saves.
Carson Cooke, Shore
Cooke cashed in on several scoring opportunities and had three of his game-high four goals in the first half and also had two assists as the Blue Devils defeated Red Bank Catholic, 11-3.
FANTASTIC FRESHMEN: Shore Conference lacrosse players carving out a role this season
Connor Spagnuola, Rumson-Fair Haven
It was a career day for Spagnuola in goals (8) and points (10) to go along with two assists in a 17-2 win over Brick Memorial.
Brendan Donnelly, CBA
Donnelly had two goals to lead the Colts to a 8-3 win over Southern as the Colts secured a spot in the SCT semifinals every year since 2016.
