2023 Honda CR-V Sport Touring and EX Inside and Out

Honda redesigned the new 2023 CR-V from the ground up. This time around, Honda is going for a two-powertrain strategy rather than a two-model strategy. Instead of distinct CR-V and CR-V Hybrid models, the EX and EX-L will be powered by Honda's 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder, which will make the same 190 horsepower and 179 pound-feet of torque as it does in the current model. The Sport and Sport Touring models will be powered by a revised hybrid powertrain producing 204 horsepower and 247 pound-feet of torque. Honda opted for a similar two-tiered strategy for the new CR-V's interior. The EX and Sport models come standard with 7-inch infotainment screens while the better equipped EX-L and Sport Touring get 9-inch systems with wireless device charging. The CR-V clearly draws some design inspiration from the new Civic, and that's most evident in the cabin thanks to the grille running nearly the entire width of the dashboard. Honda hasn't yet provided us with new CR-V's interior dimensions, but says it is more spacious and comfortable than the current model's.
