Abbott Elementary led the nominations for TV, coming in with six, while Everything Everywhere All At Once garnered a whopping 14 nods. The Critics Choice Awards, historically, tend to be great predictors of the Oscars.

The 2023 ceremony was a little less star-studded than originally planned, as stars including Colin Farrell, Brendan GleesonJamie Lee Curtis and Michelle Pfeiffer were forced to sit out the celebrations after testing positive for COVID-19.
