2022 Pizza, Pints and Pigskins at Logan Farm Park
Jul. 1—The 2022 Pizza, Pints and Pigskins event, presented by Superior Plumbing and sponsored by the City of Acworth and the Marietta Daily Journal, will be Sept. 10 from noon to 10 p.m. at Logan Farm Park, 4405 Cherokee Street in Acworth.
Pizzerias from all over Cobb County will converge
on the park for food, fun and games. Each restaurant will serve their best pizza dish along with other fare. There will be a huge Kid's Zone, music, cold beverages in the beer garden and a pizza contests — such as the People's Choice Award, the Judge's Choice and the Most Creative.
Participants can sing-a-long to favorite songs throughout the day — featuring local artist Scott Thompson until 6 p.m. and ending with The Return — The Ultimate Beatles Tribute Band from 8 to 10 p.m. Reserved tables will be available to purchase for the concert.
There will also be a Georgia Grown Member Gift Market featuring an array of food and gift items. Some of the selections include smoked sea salts, pecans, sauces, paintings, crafts, fruits and vegetables.
Admission is free. Attendance is estimated at 15,000 to 20,000 people.
