2022 Faith 7 Bowl rosters set, Oklahoma-Texas basketball game information announced
The Faith 7 Bowl is coming soon.
The annual All-Star basketball game that pits the best boys and girls players in Oklahoma against Texas is set for Saturday, May 28, at Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee.
This will be the 56th edition of the boys games, with Oklahoma leading the series, 37-23. There were two games played some years. It's the fifth girls game, with Oklahoma leading, 3-1.
The girls game will tip at 1:30 p.m. with the boys following at 3:30 p.m. The boys will have a dunk contest at halftime while the girls will participate in a 3-point shootout.
Faith 7 Bowl is a charity event with all proceeds going to Faith 7 Activity Center, which provides activities and training for challenged adults in the Shawnee area.
The game consists of four, 10-minute quarters with no shot clock. There are 10 players on each team comprised of 2021 high school graduates who will play collegiately. Each player gets six fouls.
