While summer trips and backyard get-togethers might not happen this year, you can still look forward to outdoor picnics, small beach gatherings and backyard hangs.

For those small and safe gatherings, one of the best summer accessories you could invest in this year is a Yeti cooler. While the original Yeti coolers are large and expensive — The biggest one holds up to 82.4 gallons and is a whopping $1,299! — the brand’s new and improved option is only $199, which happens to be the cheapest Yeti cooler yet.

The new Yeti Roadie 24 Hard Cooler might look familiar to some. That’s because it’s actually a remake of the company’s original Tundra cooler line, which was the first Yeti product ever sold in 2008.

With an almost-perfect rating and more than 3,200 reviews, the Tundra 65 is the brand’s best-selling cooler. However, its $349 price tag might be a major deterrent, especially if you aren’t able to use the cooler year-round.

The new Yeti Roadie has all the same benefits that the Tundra does, except it’s smaller and cheaper. Not only can it keep everything cold for days thanks to the company’s permafrost insulation technology, but it’s also 10 percent lighter, holds 20 percent more and is 30 percent better thermally.

Plus, no Yeti cooler has ever been tall enough to hold wine bottles — until now. This is perfect for picnics! For easy transport, the Roadie even comes with a comfy carrying strap, and its slim design allows you to slide it behind the front seats of your car.

While the Roadie currently only comes in four muted colors compared to some of the Tundra’s bright and bold options, you can expect to see Yeti roll out more Roadie colorways soon.
