Fast food fans discovered a ‘secret’ Hawaiian-themed Chick-fil-A that has a totally different menu

There are more than 2,300 Chick-fil-A restaurants in the U.S., but only one where you can eat fish tacos while attending a luau.

And until a few weeks ago, that place had largely remained a local secret. Now, thanks to a series of viral TikTok videos, fast food obsessives around the world are discovering the delicious, ukelele-soundtracked glory of Truett’s Chick-fil-A Luau.

The restaurant, located in Fayetteville, Ga., features an exclusive, Hawaiian-inspired menu — including fish and chicken tacos, sweet potato waffle fries, bubble tea, “tropical nuggets,” frosted pineapple drinks and a “Luau burger.”

Originally opened in 2013, the location looks entirely different than a standard, run-of-the-mill Chick-fil-A, with palm trees, a massive outdoor patio and even a gigantic waterfall.

Additionally, the restaurant has been known to host luaus, bring dancers into its dining room and give away leis to customers.

Of course, Truett’s Luau has temporarily closed its dining room in response to the global health crisis, but that hasn’t stopped countless TikTok users from filming their journeys to the restaurant’s seemingly slam-packed drive-thru.

“Hawaiian chick fil a just hits different. Coolest experience,” one user, who claimed she waited four hours for her meal, captioned her excursion.

“This #hawaiianchickfila was the coolest thing ever,” another wrote.
