Billy Porter has garnered a reputation of being one of the most daring presences in Hollywood of any gender, so it was expected that the Pose star would set the red carpet on fire in the fashion department. With the purposeful intention to keep his fabulous Giles Deacon gown the focus of his full look, Porter's makeup artist, Anna Bernabe, told us she wanted to "highlight his complexion," and she achieved this goal with e.l.f. products all totaling just $33!
"After seeing Billy's incredible gown, I was inspired to highlight his complexion and embrace the opulence that is Billy Porter," Bernabe told In the Know. "To keep with the royalty theme, we wanted his beautiful facial structure to shine through so we used radiating products that complimented and accentuated his natural complexion."

To achieve Porter's flawless, minimalistic beat, Bernabe used an assortment of e.l.f. products including two new releases (Poreless Matte Putty Primer and Hydrating Camo Concealer) which she explained worked together to ensure that his skin remained glowy and radiant under the intense glare of the flashing cameras.

1. Once Porter's skin was toned and moisturized, Bernabe used a damp beauty sponge to prep his face with the Matte Putty Primer, focusing on the side of his nose and the middle of his forehead to ensure those particular areas remain smooth and shine-free throughout the night.
2. She evened out the under-eye area with the Hydrating Camo Concealer, mixing the shades Rich Chocolate and Deep Cinnamon. Using a beauty sponge, she applied the creamy product to areas on the face that needed a bit of extra coverage to give his face dimension and provide a hydrated look.
3. Once the base was completed, she sharpened his brows with a combination of the Wow Brow Gel in Black and H20 Proof Eyeliner Pen.
4. Adding subtle depth to his eye crease, Bernabe applied the matte shades from the newly released Bite Sized Eyeshadow Palette in Truffles.
5. She completed the look with a few dabs of the Lip Plumping Gloss in the shade Praline.
