A flair for the dramatic has defined the style -- and lifestyle -- of designer Christian Audigier. So it stands to reason that his Los Angeles-area home exemplifies the native Frenchman's bold ways. After years of listing the house for lease, the 55-year-old Audigier (right) is looking to permanently cut ties with the five-bedroom, four-bathroom, tricked-out Tudor at 219 N. Norton Ave. in Los Angeles, which has hit the market for sale at $3.199 million.

According to the Los Angeles Times, the Mid Wilshire area abode was purchased by the creator of the Ed Hardy brand in 2007 for $2.695 million. Since then, Audigier sold his design company for $62 million and made several attempts to lease this 5,400-square-foot property.

The house dates to 1925, with a classic brick exterior that retains its original character. However, inside and throughout the 10,000-square-foot lot, extensive renovation and upgrades have been put in place. That includes a gourmet kitchen, gym, a separate pool house in the back and a top- story master suite.
