Two-alarm fire called at Dollar General on Southwest Parkway

The Wichita Falls Fire Department was summoned to a Dollar General store in the 2700 block of Southwest Parkway Wednesday afternoon.

According to WFFD Assistant Fire Marshal Edward Mawson, the call came in just after 3:30 p.m.

The first firefighters on scene found several propane tanks inside an exchange case at the front of the store on fire and called a second alarm because of the hazard.
