A friend of the victim drove him to the hospital. Police weren't able to question the victim due to the severity of his injuries and the urgency needed to treat him, Clemens said.

Police are looking for people in the area who might have witnessed the stabbing. Clemens said so far, no surveillance footage has been recovered.

The victim was treated for life-threatening injuries, and as of Thursday morning was considered to be in critical condition, Clemens said.
