15-year-old girl shot on Milwaukee's north side, police say

A 15-year-old girl was shot in Milwaukee Thursday night and suffered life-threatening injuries, police say.

The girl is currently at a hospital.

The incident occurred at roughly 9:19 p.m. on the 1700 block of West Capitol Drive on Milwaukee's north side.

The circumstances leading up to the shooting are still under investigation and police do not have anyone in custody. Police said the girl is from Milwaukee.
