The KMVA also specified that during the 310 days of the full-scale invasion, the air raid siren sounded 638 times in the capital. The total duration of alarms was 693 hours and 49 minutes.

“Almost 29 days! The city’s residents spent the entire calendar month this year in shelters and bomb shelters! Ukraine’s capital is its people. People who have hardened and become even more courageous. Nothing will break them. Ukrainian Kyiv stands and will stand!” – summed up Serhiy Popko, the KMVA chief.

Russia is systematically launching missile strikes on Kyiv. In most cases, the occupiers’ shells hit residential buildings and objects of the capital’s infrastructure.

During the massive attack on Nov. 23, Russian troops fired 31 missiles at Kyiv, 21 of them were shot down. Three people died that day, about ten were injured. Shells hit energy and other critical infrastructure facilities, leaving the capital’s residents without water and electricity for a day.

After that, the invaders attacked the capital on Dec. 5, 16, 29 and on the night of Dec. 30.

On Dec. 29, the Russian Federation fired 16 missiles at Kyiv, all of which were shot down by Ukrainian air defense forces. Debris from the downed missiles fell in four districts of the capital, damaging three private residential buildings in one of them.
