    12-year-old boy is charged after he 'sexually assaulted a teacher'

    A twelve-year old boy has been charged for allegedly sexually assaulting a teacher at a secondary school in Glasgow.

    The child was arrested at an address in Glasgow after the reported assault, which happened at a school in the city on August 29th.

    Police Scotland continue to investigate.

    "A 12-year-old boy has been charged in connection with an alleged sexual assault which occurred in a school in Glasgow on Thursday, August 29.

    "A report has been sent to the Children's Reporter," a spokesman for Police Scotland said today.

    The child cannot be named for legal reasons.

    A spokesman for Glasgow City Council said: "As this is a police investigation it would be inappropriate to comment further."

    The school has not yet been identified.
