103 new cases of COVID-19 reported in Luzerne County on Sunday

Apr. 11—The state Department of Health reported another 103 cases of COVID-19 and no new deaths in Luzerne County on Sunday.

The county has 28,289 positive cases and the death toll stands at 772.

A total of 48 COVID-19 patients in Luzerne County are hospitalized, with nine adult patients in intensive care units and two patients on ventilators.

Statewide there were 3,362 additional cases, bringing the total to 1,072,336. The death toll in Pennsylvania is now 25,405.

To date, 38,456 Luzerne County residents have received partial vaccinations and 69,430 have received full vaccinations.

* CVS in the Midway Shopping Center in Wyoming and in Exeter provide drive-thru testing and can be scheduled by visiting cvs.com.
