Zoie Henry has been named live desk anchor on the morning newscast at Milwaukee's WISN-TV (Channel 12).

Henry will start her new gig, which involves a mix of anchor work and reporting, on the station's 4:30-to-7 a.m. newscast June 3.

She is stepping into the job vacated by Mallory Anderson, who was promoted in February to co-anchor of Channel 12's morning news after Diana Gutiérrez was named co-anchor of Channel 12's 10 p.m. newscast. (Gutiérrez later added 6 p.m. co-anchoring duties as well; in both posts, she succeeded Joyce Garbaciak, who has stepped away from the anchor desk to focus on special projects at Channel 12.)

Henry, who grew up in Chicago, comes to Channel 12 from WLTX-TV in Columbia, South Carolina, where she had been a weekend morning anchor and multimedia journalist since July 2022. Before that, she was weekend evening anchor and a multimedia journalist at KFSM-TV in Fayetteville, Arkansas, and a reporter at KOMU-TV in Columbia, Missouri.

Henry earned her Bachelor of Journalism degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
