Prepare to have your heartstrings pulled.

Not only is baby Ziggy, a two-week-old Guereza colubus monkey, named for the late David Bowie and his Ziggy Stardust character, but the fuzzy little guy is absolutely adorable to boot.

Ziggy was born at the Saint Louis Zoo on Jan. 10, the same day Bowie died, and has been capturing hearts ever since — including those of his mother Cecelia and big sister Kivuli.

“Everyone in the colobus monkey family has a role in caring for newborns,” said Joe Knobbe, Zoological Manager of Primates at the Saint Louis Zoo. “Cecelia allows the young females some time with the infant, holding or even carrying him. They are learning important skills that will help them become great mothers, too, someday.”

Hey, if our little siblings were as adorable as Ziggy we probably wouldn't mind babysitting, either.
