Zelenskyy imposes sanctions on Russian media and financial firms registered in Ukraine

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has signed the decision of the National Security and Defence Council to impose sanctions on 69 legal entities, including a number of Russian media outlets, and two individuals.

Details: The list of entities subject to sanctions includes Russian media outlets NTV Plus; Channel One Russia  Worldwide; Zvezda TV and Radio Company of the Russian Armed Forces; Petersburg TV and Radio Company; Ren TV; Izvestia Information Centre, Moskovsky Komsomolets; Krym TV and Radio Company, and a number of other media outlets working in occupied Crimea.

In addition, a number of companies registered in Ukraine were sanctioned: a subsidiary of Financial Company ElMI; WebMoney.UA LLC; a subsidiary of Financial Company VM-Faktor; Paymaster LLC; Agentstvo Harantii [Guarantee Agency] LLC, and Yandex.Ukraine LLC.

Two individuals are also on the sanctions list, namely Russian diplomat Yevgeny Voronin and journalist Alexei Fedorenko.
