Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Annalena Baerbock, Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs of Germany, have discussed the situation on the front in Ukraine and the needs of the Ukrainian military, including additional air defence capabilities.

Details: Zelenskyy thanked Germany for the aid it continues to send to Ukraine in its fight for its independence.

"I spoke about the frontline situation and Ukraine’s key defense needs. We discussed the joint initiative of German foreign and defense ministers to find additional Patriot and other air defense systems for Ukraine," Zelenskyy wrote on X.
