Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called Russian dictator Vladimir Putin a Nazi after the wanted war criminal had Russia launch another massive missile and drone attack on Ukraine on May 8, he wrote on Twitter.

"Nazi Putin's massive missile attack on the Day of Remembrance and Victory of Nazism in the Second World War...", he wrote.

“The whole world should clearly understand who is who. The whole world has no right to give another chance to Nazism to win."

Russia launched more than 50 cruise and ballistic missiles and more than 20 Shahed kamikaze drones at energy infrastructure in the Lviv, Vinnytsia, Kyiv, Poltava, Kirovohrad, Zaporizhzhya, and Ivano-Frankivsk oblasts on May 8,

Russia's mass missile attack on Ukraine on May 8

An air alert was announced nationwide overnight on May 8 during Russia's latest mass missile attack on Ukraine's energy infrastructure.

Russia attacked Kyiv with cruise missiles from different directions, with the capital's air defense system destroying all targets.

Two people were injured in Brovary after a fire broke out at a civilian infrastructure facility.

An energy infrastructure facility in Poltava Oblast caught fire after being hit, regional authorities reported.

Russia seriously damaged three DTEK thermal power plants in its massive missile attack on Ukrainian energy infrastructure overnight on May 8, DTEK reported.
