Zaxby’s opens first Virginia Beach location

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Zaxby’s is now open in Virginia Beach for dine-in and drive-thru.

It’s the first location in the city for the Georgia-based brand. The new restaurant is located at 2332 Elson Green Ave.

For those new to the chain, they serve Chicken FingerzTM, Zalads® and wings. Other favorites include the Signature Sandwich, Chicken Bacon Ranch Loaded Fries and fried pickles.

A new limited time offer for the restaurant is Southern Fried Shrimp. This is the first seafood offering from Zaxby’s since it opened in 1990. It will be available at participating locations while supplies last.

While new to Virginia Beach, it is not new to Hampton Roads. It has seven locations locally, with restaurants in Chesapeake, Suffolk, Hampton and Newport News. Nationally, it has 950 locations in 17 states.
