YouTube channel recognizes this Fresno restaurant
FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – America’s Best Restaurant Road Show was in the city of Fresno on Monday as they were putting the spotlight on Guadalajara Restaurant in Fresno.
The restaurant was opened in 1988 by Cecelio and Rosalinda Garcia who had come to the U.S. a decade before the restaurant’s opening. The couple says they used the very last dollar they had to open the restaurant to buy food for their first day of business.
The restaurant is located at 3020 N Weber Avenue in Fresno.
On Monday, America’s Best Restaurants, a YouTube channel that highlights locally independent-owned restaurants in the U.S., filmed an episode for their YouTube Channel Series featuring the Guadalajara restaurant in Fresno.

“Seeing which ones are best like the food is good everywhere that we go because that’s why you’re one of America’s Best Restaurants obviously we’re looking for flavor, we’re looking for execution on the dish, unique dishes, and things of that nature but a lot of times it’s more than just the food a lot of times it’s about the restaurant itself it’s about the people,” said the Host of America’s Best Restaurant Road Show, Theo Williams.
