Youth Hockey players compete for Blue Note Cup Championships

MARYLAND HEIGHTS — Centene Community Ice Center is hosting the Blue Note Cup Youth Hockey Championships this weekend.

Youth hockey players from St. Louis and the Midwest have taken over the venue. The St. Louis Blues and their charity “Blues for Kids” support the Blue Note Cup. The tournament is in its 13th year.

The tournament features 5,000 players and 250 teams competing for 35 championships spread over two days. The Squirt 10U through Midget 18U divisions have 3,700 players, while the remaining players are in the 6U and 8U Festival divisions.
