Ever since we were children, there’s been something disappointing about your average chocolate Easter egg.

Namely, that it’s hollow inside.

And this discovery hasn’t got any easier Easter after Easter, even if it does come with a free chocolate bar or mug.

But now we need be disappointed no longer, as a company has released a new solid chocolate Easter egg.

The Solid Chocolate Company has launched what it claims to be the world’s very first solid chocolate egg just in time for Easter 2017.

To make it a little more easy to tackle than one big chunk of chocolate, it’s broken into individual bricks which you can dig into.

Made out of 750g of high-quality Belgian chocolate, it’s split into 42 bite-size pieces and is available in four flavours; milk, dark, white and caramel.

Quite justifiably, it costs a little more than your average egg at £24.99.

If you fancy making someone’s Easter, it’s available now on Amazon.

Or if you can’t buy it, how about you make your own Cadbury’s Creme Egg to make the day special instead?
