New York City firefighter dies after Bronx home explosion

NEW YORK (Reuters) - One firefighter was killed on Tuesday after an explosion ripped through a home in the Bronx borough of New York City, a spokesman for the city's fire department said.

The spokesman said the firefighter was apparently killed by falling debris from the blast. Ten people were injured.
