Yoda Might Get His Own New 'Star Wars' Movie

Ready are you? Yoda might get his own movie, according to Harry Knowles at Ain't It Cool News. While we all know that J.J. Abrams is going to direct Episode VII, Knowles reports that Disney, which now owns Lucasfilm, is planning to also make stand-alone movies about familiar characters, and apparently the first one is going to be about Yoda.  "At this stage specifics are sparse, but Kathleen Kennedy is putting together a STAR WARS slate..." Knowles writes. "I'm wildly curious for more details on the YODA film - would this be a young or old YODA tale?"

Obviously details of the Yoda film are sparse, and Knowles's sources can be good and bad. Let's also not forget that the Star Wars rumor mill is positively abuzz and often totally wrong, or at least misguided — Zack Snyder had been rumored to be working on a Jedi film

So at this point, speculate at will. While we love the little green guy as much as the next person, how much sage advice can be doled out over the course of an entire movie? The Star Wars geeks, for now, are very excited, and less so, but their grammar is all bad:

Disney are working on a standalone Yoda movie. Okay Disney, you've had your fun. Lets just have a nice brew, sit you down and talk this out.
