YISD’s Young Women Leadership Academy to hold signing day event

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The Young Women’s Leadership Academy (YWLA) will be hosting a signing day celebration on Friday, May 3, recognizing the achievement of the class of 2024, according to the Ysleta Independent School District (YISD).

YISD says the celebration will be at 11 a.m. at the auditorium inside the EPCC Administrative Services Building located at 9050 Viscount.

YISD says about two dozen students will be honored for achieving 100 percent college acceptance and earning scholarships, including the “Ysleta Education Foundation” annual scholarship.
