Yellowstone star Tanaya Beatty is set to join the cast of new film In the Blink of an Eye.

The actor, who played Avery in the Western drama, will join Jorge Vargas and Skywalker Hughes in the Andrew Stanton-directed film, Deadline reports.

Although exact details of the film’s storyline have yet to be confirmed, it’s said to follow the stories of three people over thousands of years, as their lives connect and cause them to reflect on the circle of life.

Jared Ian Goldman (Ingrid Goes West, Russian Doll) is set to produce while Colby Day (Spaceman) acts as writer and executive producer.

“From the first read I knew Colby Day’s script was special,” Stanton said, “and it has only become more rarified of a project as our team has formed. What a privilege to have such an ideal cast and crew realize this beautiful story.”

Fans will remember Yellowstone actor Tanaya as ranch hand Avery in the cowboy drama, appearing in the show between 2018 and 2019 and returning later for season four in 2022.

Avery was last seen making an unexpected exit from the series after striking up a romance with co-worker Jimmy (Jefferson White), having packed her bags and left town with little explanation.

Skywalker Hughes, meanwhile, has starred in series Joe Pickett, Accused and Paw Patrol.

In the Blink of an Eye is set to be streamed on Hulu with additional release plans to follow.
