Yankee Fan Commits An Error Trying To Hit A Grand Slam For Love

Never propose at a sporting event because something like this could ensue.

Andrew Fox, a Pennsylvania native, probably had this vision of how perfect it would be to propose to his girlfriend of seven months, Heather Terwilliger, at Yankee Stadium last night. That all changed when Fox got on one knee during the fifth inning in the left field stands and fumbled the ring into the crowd making for a chaotic nightmare for the couple.

Luckily for the online meeting couple, a section wide search party recovered the ring after a long five minutes of looking and eventually finding the engagement ring inside the cuff of Heather’s jeans. This came after everyone in the stadium knew about the story as they graced the jumbo-tron and television cast as the legendary Michael Kay commented on the situation.

Finally, after all of the commotion which was probably the longest five minuted of Andrew’s life, he got down on one knee and popped the question, Heather accepted, giving the potential horror story a happy ending.

Check out the interview the now engaged couple gave recounting the unfortunate situation on their big night. Good luck and congrats to Heather and Andrew.
