Cooliris is an app that brings all those photos to one location to make it easier for you to discover and enjoy those photos. Cooliris announced that it was just acquired by Yahoo and will continue to work on enhanced photo experiences as a part of Yahoo.

Cooliris is passionate about creating fast, fluid mobile experiences for content and communication – as exemplified by our newest product, BeamIt.
Yahoo has a clear vision and unwavering commitment to making mobile an intuitive and effortless experience.
This makes Yahoo the perfect partner for Cooliris, and we are excited to come together to bring indispensable products to a worldwide audience.

Cooliris recently launched BeamIt for iOS. This is a private messaging service focused on the photo sharing experience. Integrating BeamIt with Flickr's vast network may be something we see from the Cooliris folks in the near future.

Some Android devices still provide image galleries with support for various services, but Cooliris rovides a more comprehensive experience for both Android and iOS users. Cooliris is still available for free for iOS and Android devices and the announcement doesn't state whether or not there will be any changes to the app availbility.
